Tania and a patient using non-linear neurofeedbackOur wellness center is passionate about helping people optimize their well-being, and that includes cognitively! At Network Chiropractic Wellness Center, we get the struggles that come with various mental and cerebral conditions, and we’re committed to offering effective, drug-free solutions. One such solution is non-linear neurofeedback, an innovative, engaging, and non-invasive brain training method.

What Is It?

Non-linear neurofeedback is a brain training technique that harnesses the power of your brain’s inherent ability to change. The nonlinear dynamical (NLD) approaches are generalized methods of neuroregulation based on nonlinear dynamical systems theory. This technique is commonly employed in nonclinical populations for optimal mental fitness, brain exercise, and meditation practice.

This type of brain training is interactive, fun, and medication-free, focusing on improving self-control over specific brain functions. The goal? To reduce symptoms of various mental health conditions, enhance performance, and promote a more balanced brain state.

What to Expect

Tania Mustain, our CHHC & Wellness Coordinator, administers non-linear neurofeedback sessions. She brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the human brain to each session, ensuring you receive personalized, comprehensive care.

During a non-linear neurofeedback session, you can expect a comfortable and non-invasive process. Sensors will be placed on your scalp to measure brain waves. The neurofeedback system then provides real-time feedback to help the brain self-regulate. Sessions are 33 minutes long and consist of listening to music while the device does the rest. Most people report feelings of relaxation and increased mental clarity during and after the session.
