How to Show Up for Yourself

Group of women runningWe’re guessing by now, some of the New Year’s resolutions you’ve made for yourself have fallen flat—but we’re not judging.

In fact, we’re here to let you know that there’s always time to get your goals back on track—you just have to be willing to put in the work.

We’re well into 2021, and the year is still full of possibilities. Sure, there’s already been some bumps along the way—but as the saying goes, difficult roads lead to beautiful destinations.

The best way to show up for yourself and make this year count for your health is to ask yourself what you want, and set goals that are attainable.

1. Think about the past year.

What worked and what didn’t work in regards to your health? Did you find yourself not able to get enough exercise because you were stuck indoors? Resolve that problem by incorporating at-home workouts into your routine. Simple stretching, lunges, squats, and lightweight lifting can all be done easily inside.

2. Think about the present.

What can you change about your lifestyle right now in this very moment? Ask yourself this when you’re facing a non-healthy decision.

3. Consider the future.

What does your ideal day, week, or month look like in the year ahead? Examine your current lifestyle and figure out what’s different about your reality and your vision.
